Brief:
2 Colmore Square and Cannon House are interconnected Grade A multiple occupancy office blocks located in the Colmore Business district of Birmingham.
We were appointed to design and install air conditioning and ventilation systems based on an open plan Cat A office space while designing in an element of flexibility to allow a smooth and cost effective conversion to a Cat B bespoke system.

Action:
Based on the target occupancy levels air conditioning was provided designed around ducted indoor units served by heat recovery VRF systems to allow future autonomous control of specific areas during a Cat B fit out.
Ventilation was provided to the complete office area based on the target occupancy levels using heat recovery ventilation units.
Control of both the Air Conditioning and Ventilation units are provided by a touch screen type centralised controller.
